‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Eve Gets Her Hands On a Claire, Bad News To Rain Down On Salem – Will’s Curse Continues
On their own, they’re bad enough. With Claire rushing to Eve for help with the Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams)/Hayley Chen (Thia Megia) situation again? It’s got bad news written all over this duo. Claire’s (understandably) in panic mode over this upcoming fake marriage and what it might mean. To be honest, we can’t really blame the girl there. Of course, Haley wouldn’t be planning to marry Tripp right now, had Claire kept her mouth shut. But that’s a whole other topic.
Obviously, Eve is all over this and quickly starts planning a big show to expose the truth. Claire wants her to take a step back. She can’t be part of any plan here, as she’s still trying to hold on to her man. You know, the one she manipulated her way into getting. So that’s totally stable. Eve agrees to work things without Claire being involved, and enables Claire’s paranoia by taking her side on the marriage thing. Claire’s looking ready for some trouble, so we can’t wait to see what she’ll do when she gets back to the loft.

Back at the loft, Tripp and Hayley are getting their stories straight, should they be taken in for questioning over this plan. They come up with a variation on their “how we met” story, spin the free lunch that caused Claire to start obsessing about Hayley to start with, as well as a retcon of Tripp and Claire’s relationship. They’re getting along pretty well, and seem to almost be enjoying this, but JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss), spurred on by Claire earlier, arrives to try to win Hayley over. Instead, he ends up agreeing to be Tripp’s best man.
Enough already
Sarah gets warm when she learns that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) is holding that kiss over Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) head to get Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) out of the DiMera mansion. She can’t believe he’d do something like that, and refuses to accept Eric’s decision to go along with it. She appears to be about to take Brady’s power away from him by telling a just-arrived Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) that she’s got a confession to make. Dude. Do not mess with this girl, people.
Love in the air?
Speaking of Chloe, she’s still got two guys that are all into her. The subject of the kiss comes up again with Brady, and Chloe admits that while she felt something, she reaffirms what she told Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) about not getting into any relationships right now. Her only priority is making sure she and the kids are safe. Brady assures her he’ll do whatever he can to help keep them safe. We wonder what she’ll think of Brady, should she learn what he’s pulling.

Back at the DiMera mansion, Stefan is having too much fun with Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus). He walked in another kind-of fight between the girls. Chloe, for the record, thought that Gabi shows up an awful lot, and the only business she seems to be taking care of is getting into Chole’s. Stefan taunts Gabi about wanting him after Chloe leaves for work, and Gabi does her usual denial thing. We were thinking the lady protests too much, because eventually Stefan’s taunts lead to a massive lip lock that seems to both shock and kind of horrify Stefan. She claims she was just showing him what he’ll never have, but we think someone’s lying to herself.
Cursed?
Will seems okay after paramedics arrive, but Rex and Sarah are going to be running tests to see exactly what happened. Will still thinks it’s the evil eye, and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) is forced to explain to the science types what Will’s worried about. Rex is positive there’s a sensible explanation, and we’re not sure which possibility is scaring Will more: being cursed, or maybe having something medically wrong with him.
