‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers relate that Alice Hunter is having the time of her life with her new role as Kerry Johnson. As a matter of fact, the young Aussie actress says that she’s very grateful to have been given this opportunity to play Kerry on the show, as it’s been her goal to work in the daytime television industry for some time now.

Alice Hunter moved to Hollywood from Australia several years ago and even though she was very close in getting a role on Days of Our Lives, that didn’t happen. As a result, she decided that daytime television just simply wasn’t in the cards for her. But when the opportunity came up to audition for The Young and the Restless, she gave it another try. She got the role of Kerry, Jack’s new love interest. But as viewers know, their relationship has been anything but easy. Kerry is an ambitious woman who isn’t about to play by someone else’s rules.
Alice says that she loves a challenge and fortunately, playing Kerry has been a great experience so far. “This is not something Kerry was prepared for!” Hunter chuckled. “Jack has definitely thrown her. There is an age gap, which will bring up all sorts of issues. I’m excited to play all those levels.”
In addition, the beautiful actress also says that she’s been getting plenty of feedback online and even within her community! “My mail lady came up to me and was like, ‘Is this you?’ That was special to me. On social media, you get negative comments, too, but every show, every piece of art, gets criticized by someone, so I don’t let that bother me. I’m just grateful to be even a little blip on the radar of Genoa City!”
