Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Wednesday, February 20
A new case is before the Salem PD that has Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) fuming, Hayley Chen’s (Thia Megia) suddenly worried her secret might not be so safe, and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) might be in the wrong line of work. Did you miss all the Days of Our Lives spoilers? Catch up on your highlights right now in your Days of Our Lives recap.
Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) visits JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) to talk to him about the Hayley situation. JJ begs Jack to keep quiet, but Jack’s worried that his son might be getting himself into way more than he can handle. Hayley happens to come in and pick up on not-so-good vibes. It looks like Jack might spill all when Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) shows up with news of Abigail Deveraux (Kate Mansi) and Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) sudden wedding. While Jack hasn’t said anything yet, Hayley heard enough to worry and outright asks if JJ spilled her secret. Like a coward, he uses his sister’s wedding as an excuse to take off after quickly telling her she has nothing to worry about. This is only going to end badly.
Setting a record?
Julie might just win the award for the quickest wedding ever organized. After learning that Chad and Abigail are getting married and moving, she takes charge of the planning to free Abigail up to pack and prepare the kids for a long flight, while Jennifer takes charge of getting JJ and Jack to the house for the big event.

Julie’s very efficient. In almost no time, she’s got the place ready and some wardrobe choices for Abigail to go through. She’s not too busy, though, to take a moment to plant some seeds of interference in hopes of getting Jack and Jennifer together. We’ll see if it works…
It’s not what you know, it’s what you can prove
We’re very disappointed to see that the envelope does, in fact, have the blackmail photos in it. You’d think that Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus), knowing about it, would have torn the house apart to find those photos and destroy them. Apparently, her conniving and obsessive ways are reserved for her own needs.
At the station, Marlena is shocked to see Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) being brought in for questioning. The whole thing interrupts whatever Diana Cooper (Judith Chapman) was going to tell her, but Marlena doesn’t let either one leave without making it clear she’s not going to let this situation go.
While all that is going on, Will and Sonny are being questioned by Eli Grant (Lamon Archey). He believes them, but unfortunately, he has to go by the evidence that’s sitting right on the table. He asks them if they have any proof of their own story, and they admit they don’t. We told them trying to cover up that supposed murder was going to lead to trouble.
Eli leaves them alone to talk the situation over with Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso). Sonny blames himself for getting Will into this mess and for pushing Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) too far with that Valentine’s stunt. Will’s got no regrets, though. Eli returns and says they have no choice but to proceed with the booking. And we’re in awe of the irony here—the one case they might actually get a conviction in, and the perps in question are innocent.
