As the world is the still reeling from the tragic news we all received yesterday that beloved The Young and the Restless actor Kristoff St. John was found lifeless at his home, CBS is trying to do justice to the beloved actor’s legacy as it announced the airing of a special episode to honor St. John. CBS To Air Special Kristoff St. John Young and the Restless Episode
CBS confirmed that it will air a special episode of the Young and the Restless to honor the late Kristoff. St. John. In a tweet sent out earlier today, the network said: ” To honor Kristoff St. John, #YR will air a special tribute to him during the show on Friday, Feb. 8. His final episode of The Young and the Restless will air tomorrow. Please join us in saying goodbye to a beloved member of the Y&R and @CBSDaytime family.”
For fans of Kristoff St. John and Neil Winters, tomorrow will be the last time you will get to see Neil in a current set of Y&R, so let’s make sure to all tune in as way to pay or respects to one of Soap Opera’s icons of the past 3 decades. St. John joined the crew of Young and the Restless back in 1991 as Neil Winters and has remain in the same role ever since. Saying goodbye to Neil tomorrow will be like saying goodbye to a family member, since that’s exactly what he became to many: one of us.
Our prayers are out with his family, his children and fiance. By all accounts of love pouring in, Kristoff was a stand up guy off the screen as well as a beloved character on the screen and it truly feels like the world will be worse off for his loss.
