‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The Party Crashers, Bad Company – Eve Crashes New Year With Jack – Battlefield Salem

‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate The countdown is over, but the crazy is just starting in Salem as 2019 officially begins. If you missed all the Days of Our Lives spoilers, don’t worry. We’ve got your Days of Our Lives recap right here. There are two main things happening today, and most of the action focuses on the Horton charity event.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Monday, December 31 Recap – The Party Crashers, Bad Company – Eve Is Back!

Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) has returned, and this time she’s got company. Of course, she doesn’t reveal that right away. Where would be the fun in that? Instead, she spends a good chunk of the post-midnight action going on about some wrecking ball she has, and dramatically monologuing all the wrongs committed against her (along with everyone’s other sins).

It’s time to stop a moment and reflect on why on earth this town doesn’t just beat the crap out of the villain in that situation and toss their sorry selves out. I mean, come on—you’ve got what looks like the whole town gathered. Is it really that hard to shut up a blathering bad guy? Anyway…

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Jennifer Horton and Chloe Lane Clap Back

Some credit is due, however, to a few of the residents in attendance. Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves), for one, calls Eve out on her wrongs and tells her to just show us what she’s got already. Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) also points out that Eve isn’t one to be throwing stones with her past wrongs, either. But why let that get in the way of righteous anger, right? So, what was her surprise? An old face returning to town.

Yes, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) is back. How, you ask? Well, we have no freaking idea. Somehow, he apparently survived an accident and has been off somewhere with no memory since his supposed death. Eve claims to have come across him only a few months back and she’s been kind enough to fill him in on some details—his kids, his relationships with both Eve and Jennifer. She even somehow managed to get a hold of one of Jack’s journals that tell all about his sad history and the up-and-down relationship with Jennifer.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Jack Is Back Too!

While he wanted to see his kids and the rest of the family (and hopefully get more memories back), he’s cold. He doesn’t have the best impression of Jennifer, and Eve surely isn’t doing anything to change that. Jack ultimately decides that the whole scene is too exhausting and he’d rather leave and regroup a bit.

Jennifer, JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss), and Adrienne Johnson (Judi Evans) all try to convince him not to go anywhere with Eve, but he decides to go back to the Salem Inn with her after all. Later, he clearly feels bad about the way things went down, but we’re guessing Eve isn’t exactly going to help smooth things over.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Other ‘DOOL’ Spoilers – Eli and Jack Are Distressed By Jack

In other news, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price (Sal Stowers) have left to celebrate the rest of the evening alone. They actually run into Jack on their way to Eli’s, and Eli is a bit perturbed.

He thinks he recognizes the guy, but he’s not sure where. He thinks maybe in a picture. Lani suggest a mug shot, and he says maybe. In yet another testament to the awesome workforce that is the Salem PD, Eli suggests they go ahead and continue on their way.

I mean, who needs to concern themselves with a possible fugitive running around town when there’s a private party to attend. Right? We guess you don’t need us to tell you where their story goes from here. Stay tuned for more insanity in Salem on Wednesday on NBC and usual check back with Daily Soap Dish for more DOOL spoilers.
