Days of Our Lives spoilers relate that Jack Devereaux’ situation and Ben and Ciara’s relationship. Did you miss the start of another week in Salem? No worries, because we’ve got your Days of Our Lives spoilers right here in your daily Days of Our Live recap. We also got some Victor action today. Let’s start with where we left off.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: January 7 Recap – Thinking It Over
We begin with a slight recap of last week, where Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) was being tempted by Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva). She wants him to sleep with her, like they never did while they were married. They kiss, but Jack has a flash of Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) kissing him and, despite the temptation, leaves to think things over.
Where he ends up, is the pub, where Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) was speaking to Roman Brady (Josh Tayler) about the Stefan DiMera (Tyler Christopher) situation (more on that in a minute). She, obviously, reacts like everyone else does to seeing him, and Jack takes the reaction in stride.

He asks about their relationship and we crack up when he reacts to Kayla’s news they’d been married with, “How many ex-wives do I have around here?” This is soap land, Jack. This is practically a legal requirement. Anyway, things take a darker turn when he finds out that he had raped his now-sister-in-law, former wife (dang). Kayla assures him that it was a long time ago and they’d both done a lot of work since then. He became a better person. Let’s hope he remembers that before Eve gets her hooks into him.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: That’s not how this works.
So, as mentioned earlier, Stefan’s now in custody on Treason charges, something Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) gleefully reminds him is punishable by death. She’s thinking she can use the threat hanging over his head to get hard proof that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) kidnapped Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banius).
And we’re giggling at this, because somehow I don’t think the Feds (who are actually in charge here) are going to let a Treason suspect go so she can nab a kidnapper. Seriously, Hope. You have none here. To Stefan’s credit, he doesn’t rat on Ben, although he does point out to Hope that people usually cuts deals with the small players to get the big fish, not the other way around.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Ben In Dog House
Speaking of Ben, he’s totally in the dog house after Hope told Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) what he’d done. Ben plays it smart and doesn’t admit to anything in her presence, and even points out when she questions him taking the fifth that it’s what one does when a cop has it in for them. Hope and Ben both know she has nothing concrete, so leaves with Ben a free man.
He’s not out of trouble with Ciara, though. She demands the truth and is horrified to learn that he did, in fact, kidnap Gabi. Ciara spends the rest of their scenes for the day trying to convince Ben that one day Stefan will ask for something a lot more. He asks if she wants him to quit, and she says she can’t tell him what to do.

She understands why he’s working for Stefan, but she’s not happy about it. In the end, they both decide they need to do a lot of thinking. And now we’re totally sad that this relationship might be done before it really got anywhere.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Other DOOL Spoilers – Another One?
Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) troubles with houseguests are not over. Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) has arrived, much to Victor’s annoyance. After some snarky back and forth between them (and some DiMera insults) he somewhat changes his tune after Xander shows that he has some information that might prove useful in saving Titan. Victor offers money, but Xander wants power and respect instead. Looks like he might be taking over where Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) left off.
