‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers tease that Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) bold plan to remove Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) from Genoa City Memorial Hospital might be well-intentioned, but deeply reckless. Nikki’s fragile physical state is threatened as a result.
‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Will Nikki Recover But Remain Scarred Forever, or Will She Die?
Will Nikki recover, be affected in a lasting, negative way, or die? The easy answer projects as Y&R’s leading lady being fine, in time. But recent supervising producers Tony Morina (now executive producer) and head writer Josh Griffith (who was also a former head writer) could opt to have Nikki suffer an extended affliction that creates lasting challenges. The idea of Melody Thomas Scott being written out seems slim, but can’t be fully discounted until the next few weeks of episodes plays out.

‘Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers: Newmans Are In Panic Mode
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Vickie Newman (Amelia Heinle) are naturally frantic when they enter their mother’s hospital room and find her bed empty. But Nick later learns that Nate (Brooks Darnell) accepted Victor’s pressured request to take Nikki from GCMH.
The idea of Nick going along with anything Victor wanted to do within the last year would have seemed preposterous. But soapy dilemmas create strange (it’s got to be said, with no apologies) bedfellows.

Anyone, be she Y&R’s longtime and still-reigning daytime diva, or any other alter ego who has just awoken from a coma and had her spleen removed would need weeks, at least, to heal. That’s why moving Nikki from her hospital room to a commandeered ambulance is misguided. But that’s Victor, her hero.
‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Soapy Dilemmas Create Strange Bedfellows
While still under the hospital’s jurisdiction, Nikki told Niktor’s children that Victor was in her room and had saved her. The strength he transferred seemed to simply be part of a dream, but it wasn’t. Nikki’s power was actually restored through Victor’s passioned plea.
Kudos to Y&R for creating what appears to be a crescendo to the nearly nine-month long J.T. Dies (Thad Luckinbill) storyline. Victor’s Christmas week return establishes a clear climax where he can be cleared of killing J.T., Nikki is implicated, the remaining coverup crew members face some form of justice, and the still-unknown body-mover is exposed for whoever he, or she is.

‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Other Y&R Spoilers
Victor needed to snatch Nikki to provide space between them and the authorities and to create time for a strong response that applies blame to whoever is targeting all involved. A revenge push is being thrust onto the Newman family for reasons that aren’t yet clear as 2018 ends and 2019 supplants it.
