‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers are in and we have Tuesday’s recap if you missed it. So let’s talk about some of the big happenings. Today focused on the Abigail drama, Ben’s case, and the Sonny/Will/Paul triangle. Let’s start at the beginning.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Abigail or Gabby-with-a-Y?
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate that as we open, Abigail (Marci Miller) has just given birth to the baby and she and Chad (Billy Flynn) are actually getting along again. She’s touched by his offer to watch over the baby while she sleeps, as she’s exhausted, and impressed he still remembers the “baby bounce”. He says it’s just like riding a bike, then settles into a chair with the little one. Abigail watches this with a smile before falling asleep.
Soon, Chad has awoken to find that Abigail isn’t on the couch and he wonders where she is. He’s shocked to see Gabby-with-a-Y enter the room. She says that having the baby was the thing she needed to give her the strength to take control, and wants her baby now. Chad refuses to hand the baby over, and Gabby-with-a-Y points out the child isn’t his. He doesn’t care, and they argue, with Gabby-with-a-Y telling him that he will never see Abigail again.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Just a Nightmare
Chad wakes up from his nightmare to see Abigail is still where she belongs and still not wearing the Gabby wig. If Gabby-with-a-Y hadn’t confessed to doing things Gabbi did, we might have been pulled in for a minute. Way to play mind games, writers. Their segments end with Chad calling Stefan to make a proposition and Abgail realizing the baby has Chad’s eyes.
Speaking of Gabbi, her number’s up and Stefan (Tyler Christopher) is already calling the cops to turn her in. Gabbi tries to talk him out of it, but he just keeps listing her sins and actually shows a bit of integrity for a minute. He thinks it’s best to let the cops sort out what crimes were, or weren’t committed. Gabbi is desperate and points out that if her scheme is exposed, that Chad and Abigail will end up together again. Abigail will get a quickie divorce, and the child will be raised by Chad. That’s enough for him to let her go for now, but he warns her not to cross him. Apparently, coming to Salem to connect with family didn’t work out the way he hoped, and the child is his only chance to have said family.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers -Triple threat
For more relationship drama, we turn the focus to the Sonny/Will/Paul situation. Will (Chandler Massey) is excited to show off the new apartment to Paul (Christopher Sean) and has Paul closing his eyes before bringing him into the apartment. When they enter, however, Will’s excitement is short-lived, as the place is empty. He immediately makes a call to try and remedy the situation, but gets nowhere. Paul, however, has a connection thanks to an old endorsement, and has an apartment full of furniture delivered. At first, Will seems to be a little put out to not be the hero here, but before Paul’s friend leaves, he seems fine.
Will decides that he’s going to get food for them now while Paul says he’s going to unpack. Will suggests he start in the kitchen, then heads out to the pub for the food. While there, he (obviously) runs into Sonny (Freddie Smith) and they once more commiserate over their not-going-to-happen love now that Will’s memories are back. Will lets him know that he writes about his feelings for Sonny in a journal his mom gave him, and Sonny is happy to know that. They agree, however, they’re making the right choice and Will needs to get back to Paul with the food while its still hot.
Of course, their segments end with Paul having made some impressive progress in the kitchen and deciding to open one of Will’s boxes. Obviously said box includes what looks like a journal. Uh oh…
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Pushing buttons…
For a town that seems so disgusted and scared of Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), they sure spend a lot of time telling him off and treating him like dirt. Ben’s clearly getting tired of it and says so. Especially once Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) bring him in again to tell him how Wyatt confessed to the evidence tampering. They make it clear, though, this isn’t over and Ben wonders if one of those pro-bono lawyers will be willing to sue them for harassment before he leaves.
Stupidly, Hope and Rafe have given him the name of his supposed framer, Wyatt. Claire had paid him off with her money from being the face of Bella, and Wyatt is ready to spend his reward now that he’s been let off. Apparently, evidence planting isn’t something the authorities wanna bother with unless a cop is the one doing the planting. As tends to happen on these shows, Ben happens upon Wyatt placing a phone order and giving his name. Ben confronts Wyatt, and all of a sudden, Wyatt looks like he’s regretting having gone along with the scheme to protect Tripp.
Ben makes it clear that he’s tired of the crap and he only came back here to make amends. He intimidates Wyatt, but points out that he won’t hurt him. All I have to say is, if Ben ends up going all psycho killer again, they’ll only have themselves to blame.
