‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers relate a Sonny return filled with fireworks and the power of a reputations. Let’s first take a look at the DOOL November 26, 2018 recap.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers- Still Thanksgiving in Salem
The holidays may be over in the US, but it was still Thanksgiving in Salem when the show returned after a little holiday hiatus. Let’s jump right in and catch you up on some of the highlights…
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Sonny Returns
So, Victor had been completely against Will coming back into Sonny’s life, which he made very clear in the last episode. After a ton of crap from everyone (and a medical emergency), he had a change of heart about bringing them together and sent a message to Sonny to come back immediately. Sonny, understandably, is concerned about the message, afraid something may be wrong with Ari or Paul. Will assures him that they’re both fun, then fills him in on Paul leaving. Sonny is obviously feeling bad, but Will points out that he was going to find out anyway (about time, buddy. I was thinking that as soon as you all came up with that lame idea), and that it’s probably better he finds out now, rather than later. The pair then decides to head back to Sonny’s for a little reunion. That, however, is cut short by the door bell ringing—where Leo, the guy they thought they’d killed in self-defence, was waiting.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – People in Salem have no sense of self-preservation
In other news, I continue to be astounded by the way people are behaving toward Ben Weston. I mean, serious, people, you’re either dumb as dirt, insane, or you know Ben’s reformed. I can’t think of any other reason why Tripp would be so antagonistic when coming across Ben today. Especially since Ben has info that can put Tripp away. I mean, can we say interfering with a case? Luckily for him, Claire was with them and talked Ben down from calling the cops, despite Tripp basically daring him to. I continue to marvel at how selfish and annoying Claire is. This is really about stealing Tripp from her ‘best friend’, not believing in second chances. I have to admit, the girl is good, though, her big speech about that (and karma) was apparently enough to convince Ben not to go through with it. He did, however, make it very clear once Tripp left that he was done with him and Claire.

Meanwhile, Hope is still all-in on the “Ben is evil” train and starts in on Ciara when she finds out that Ben had something to do with the breakup between her and Tripp. She looks like she’s not going to stop going after Ben until she finds something (or potentially pushes him over the edge and gets killed—whatever comes first.) Personally? If he does go back to his evil ways, I don’t think I’ll feel to sorry for most of the potential victims.

‘Days of our Lives’ Spoilers – Promises
And, finally, we also spend some time with Sarah and Eric (who are looking awful friendly right now) today. She’s still reeling from finding out about Rex’s cheating ways and contemplating having to return to work in Chicago. She’s not thrilled by the prospect, as it’s the site of Rex’s fling with Mimi. Even with her own drama, she manages to reassure Eric that he can handle his promise to take care of Holly. She points out that there are lots of people around who will help make the child feel loved. Eric decides to take the plunge and actually make his guardianship of Holly legal. On a side note here, I was cracking up at them talking about the terrible prospect of the little girl, “learning the dark arts at Victor’s knee”. I guess today we also learned about the power of a reputation…
