‘Days of Our Lives’ actor Gilles Marini (Ted Laurent) took to twitter today to express his frustration over the rise in gun violence in America. Reluctant to hit the “tweet” button, Marini decided that his message was one that needed to be heard. Read below.
“I was reluctant to post this but it needs to STOP. A man was arrested a front of my daughter school. He was acting so weird that couple girls went to the office and report it thank god. This is what he had in his car. How many kids have to die for us to change our ways?”
To which he added:
“America is simply at war. This morning many parents, again, will look for their son or daughter and they will have that call where their heart will break forever. I’m crying with the families.
#crushed#ThousandOaks”
And:
“Waking up to another mass shooting and this time so close to us. A young man targeting young people. When will it stop?
#gutted#ThousandOaks”
It’s a sobering day today across the world as we pray for the 12 victims of the California night club shooting. May they Rest in Peace and may the perpetrator rot in hell in his next life as well as all lives after that until eternity.
